DTM is the first direct to metal water-based coating specially designed to stop corrosion and improve efficiency on the heat exchange surfaces and metal components of air conditioning systems. Provides superior corrosion protection with a thin water resistant easy to apply film. This thin film does not affect heat exchange, maximises airflow and reduces microbial contamination.
Efficiency improvements occur because of two special advancements in the coating :
Firstly, the coating is SUPER Hydrophobic, repelling water and dirt from the metal surfaces. This feature improves efficiency and reduces corrosion significantly. Secondly the COIL DEFENDER coating is impregnated with Silver Ions stopping the growth of mould and bacteria on the coated metal surfaces.
